Basic Pistol

For anyone who owns a pistol but has yet to train with it. The focus of Basic Pistol is building confidence handling a pistol safely and effectively and building great fundamentals for proficiency.

We’ll cover the foundations before shooting like safety, stance, loading, grip and sight picture. From there you’ll work on pulling the trigger for accurate shooting and will practice with dry firing, and then live firing at targets. Like all of our courses, you’ll receive immediate, individualized feedback at every step in the process.

Practical Pistol

This course is offered in 4 blocks of instruction, each block is focused on certain core principles. These blocks do not need to be taken in order. Block A, Block B, Block C, and Block D

For students who have taken Basic Pistol or are demonstrably well-versed in the topics covered in Basic Pistol. The focus of Practical Pistol is improving proficiency beyond the basics to enable confidence in handling the pistol for practical scenarios.

This course quickly reviews and builds Basic Pistol by incorporating training drawing from a holster (outside waistband), speed and tactical reloading, handling common malfunctions, and shooting multiple targets.

Performance Pistol

For students who have taken Practical Pistol or are demonstrably well-versed in the topics covered in Practical Pistol. The focus of Performance Pistol is to continue to build on proficiency for more complex environments and situations.

This course quickly reviews and builds Practical Pistol by incorporating movement and reloading while moving, transitioning between multiple targets (laterally and at different distances), all while balancing precision and speed.

Basic Rifle

For anyone who owns an AR-style rifle but has yet to train with it. The focus the Basic Rifle course is on safely and effectively operating a rifle to build a great foundation to confidently handle a rifle and put rounds on target.

We’ll cover the foundations before shooting like safety, stance, loading, grip, sight picture, sling management, and then jump into shooting and speed reloading. Like all of our courses, you’ll receive immediate, individualized feedback at every step in the process.

Practical Rifle

For anyone who owns a AR-style rifle and have taken the Basic Rifle course or are demonstrably well-versed in the topics covered in Basic Rifle. The focus of the Practical Rifle course is building on Basic Rifle skills to build confidence in operating the rifle for more complex scenarios.

After a brief review of Basic Rifle and safety, we’ll jump right into tactical reloads, firing on multiple targets, handling common malfunctions, and more.

Performance Rifle

For anyone who owns a AR-style rifle and have taken the Practical Rifle course or are demonstrably well-versed in the topics covered in Practical Rifle. The focus of the Performance Rifle is course is developing confidence proficiency in operating your rifle when facing challenging scenarios.

After a brief review of Practical Rifle and safety, we’ll jump right into firing and reloading while moving (advancing, retreating, lateral), engaging multiple control and attack targets, speed and transitioning between multiple targets and multiple distances, and shot tempo.

Low-Light Training 

Using basic shooting fundamentals found in Basic Pistol and Practical Pistol, but in a dark environment. We will be utilizing both weapon-mounted white-light devices as well as hand-held flashlights and techniques.

The course of fire for this class is a flat range target warmup and a full-scale USPSA style stage setup with walls, barrels, and assorted cover.

Outside the waistband (OWB) holster setups are required for this course. The expectation is to progress onto Inside the waistband (IWB) Low-Light course after this training. Basic Pistol is a pre-requisite to attend this course.
